Four weeks after Sage’s birth my body finally felt good enough to go on our first family hike. We revisited the lower portion of the Holy Jim trail at the base of Santiago Peak. We also took Sage on her first camping trip to Lake Lopez with Jason, Veronica, and Jacob. Sage was wonderful and slept in the tent like a champ. She soaked up all the new sounds… the wind, birds, crunching of leaves, Jacob’s sweet words, outdoor grilling, new voices… and loved it all. Here are some pictures.
Follow us on Instagram! These two. ❤️Turns out camping with a baby and two olders was not a relaxing choice. There were swarms of mosquitoes, I woke up every 45 mins, whisper screamed SHHHHHHHHH (on repeat) at everyone , forgot the salsa, froze my ass off... However, a fantastic choice WAS impulse buying the @backporchcoffeeroasters pour-over pouches. (swipe) I didn’t loud scream at my husband or kids because I was too busy enjoying my coffee 💆🏻♀️ @backporchcoffeeroasters if you would like to sponsor a tired camping mama, I will happily join your professional coffee drinking team. You know where to reach me. At least we got some pretty pictures 🤷♀️ #bendcoffee #campingwithkids #suckssometimesHappy belly.
