First family hike and camping trip!

Four weeks after Sage’s birth my body finally felt good enough to go on our first family hike. We revisited the lower portion of the Holy Jim trail at the base of Santiago Peak. We also took Sage on her first camping trip to Lake Lopez with Jason, Veronica, and Jacob. Sage was wonderful and slept in the tent like a champ. She soaked up all the new sounds… the wind, birds, crunching of leaves, Jacob’s sweet words, outdoor grilling, new voices… and loved it all. Here are some pictures.

Toe dip in the stream. Not so sure how she feels about this!

Sage is so small she is barely seen in the carrier!
